So what causes cellulite and fat stored in the thighs? Many people today suffer from unsightly legs and hips, and dread the summer because they don’t want to be seen in a bathing suit. Is there an answer for this? Does it have to cost thousands of dollars to fix? The good news is that there is an answer, and it doesn’t have to break the bank.
The Dictionary defines cellulite as “deposits of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue (as in the thighs, hips, and buttocks) that give a puckered and dimpled appearance to the skin surface.” So by definition cellulite is just fat. Many think that it is something different, but really it isn’t, it’s just fat deposited in the legs and thighs.
So what do I do to get rid of it. Diet and exercise?
Well, yes and no. A good diet and exercise program will benefit everyone. However, the fat deposited in this area is often due to high estrogen. Today we are swimming in a sea of estrogens. Everything from pesticides and herbicides, hormones in our food, plastics like BPA (check out our article here), Parabenes in cosmetics, birth control pills and more. When people encounter too many of these, and their body has trouble eliminating them, they get deposited here as fat.
What if I’m a man, or don’t have cellulite? Is my thigh fat still estrogen related?
Yes, men can have the same problem, and even if your skin is still smooth, the fat deposited in the thighs is due to excess estrogen.
So what do I do about it?
This is where the Biosignature Method shines. In the Biosignature, we recognize that fat is stored in certain places due to hormonal problems. We also recognize that if we correct the hormonal problem, the client gets results faster. In the case of fat on the thighs, the client will need to go on a special Estrogen Detoxification protocol. In addition to a quality diet and exercise program, we use a specialized supplements designed to help the body carry out these estrogens causing the body to store fat. The program is far cheaper than many of these other cellulite removal programs, and gets results that last. You won’t have to come back every 3-6 months for touch-ups.
Why should I bother. What’s the big deal if I’m not concerned about looks?
Excess estrogen in the body is related to a number of diseases, most importantly: cancer. All forms of cancer are accelerated by estrogen. Also for women, poor estrogen metabolism is often the cause of many PMS symptoms. Removing the excess estrogen can make this time of your cycle much easier on you. Additionally, if you are still planning on having children, removing the estrogen can increase your fertility and protect your children from the effects of too much estrogen.
